As a parent, We are always selling and using sales skills. Parenting a child is a lesson in negotiation and determination, convincing our One Year Child that it is in their best interest to feed them and have a bath or negotiating with our 12 yrs old child for more responsibility in exchange for more freedom. However, parenting also utilizes our time management skills, confidence and determination.
Personal Life
If we are married, we are selling Ourself to ongoing long term partner! Negotiating on what to have for dinner, who does the routine task or what to watch on TV tonight. We are also using the perseverance and determination that were learned on job to work through the inevitable arguments or tough periods in the relationship.
If we are Single, we are selling Ourselves to find a better long term partner in all means.
If we’re part of the world of any Sales, we sell someone who is honest, trustworthy and worth the time and effort of the other person.
